Sperm Microbiology

There are cases, however, that unwanted microorganisms invade the human body and inhibit the regular function of various tissues and organs.
Fertilization of the oocyte by the spermatozoon is also affected by the presence of pathogenic microorganisms. Microbiological testing is therefore necessary in both male and female. In men microbiological testing can be performed in urine sample, semen sample or urethral swab. In the female swabs from the vagina or the cervix or biopsy from the uterus can be used.
